Mekanism skateboards bring on the next line of collaboration decks, this time giving free reign to French graffiti legend Zevs.(sorry for being late Fred!) The video of Zevs performance is up on the site and you can view the pics in this photo gallery. Watching the video is definitely an eye-opener into the artist's mind, truly inspiring. I might have to try something similar soon with some cheap flourescent light tubes (anyone with some to spare?).

Get the decks and gear at jrqjd, quite a steal i might add.

Finally, the cat is out of the bag...not sure if it was intended or not. Part of a pack comprising of a Nike CF low and a James Jarvis Leon (whom in actual fact is based on James' friend from stussy UK) figure. Interesting that Stussy is using a bball shoe following the CF high from the XXV collection, used to be a rotating footwear range: runner-bball-trainer. But with the deluge of stussy collabs like blazer, dunk SB, vans, madfoot in the past year and a half, i myself am confused. This new drop looks good, anyone to help out, please?

I'm sure most ppl have heard of how satanic rock music is (wait, that didn't sound right)...let me re-phrase: rock music is satanic, deal with it! how else is it so good?
I like this definition of back-masking from Wiki...which proceeds to some nice links, including Jeff Milner's nifty Flash site. Quite possibly the all-time chart-topping hit in the list of back-masking songs has got to be "stairway to heaven" by Led Zeppelin. Them gods of rock were recently award the prestigious Polar Music Awards as well- rock on!

Saw the film Jarhead a couple of weeks ago... totally loved it. War movie not in the true sense of the word, with interesting overtones.
and in a related note... [you'll understand if you saw Jarhead ;)]
