Shout out to the 78monster for the hookup. The Malcolm McLaren tees are the best prints for the season imo. No idea when i'm gonna be wearing them goin' by the rate i'm buying up tees, earliest estimate puts it at early-2011, LOL! But hey, thats the way i like it, wear what i like, when i like...may be a hypebeast, but not a blind one.
Some precious shorts for the hot hot weather as well. Really like the improvement to the Eigers this season, fit is superb! The Sophnet houndstooth was a nice catch, big ups to 78 for recommendation. The best bit about them shorts? RiRi!!! hahahaha

Probably not the best of choice for a 34degree walk under the sun, but luckily we avoided by hiding within the airconditioned confines of shopping malls. Didn;t turn out to be a good idea in the end: The GSS drew out throngs of folks from everywhere and it was like a walking contingent throughout the entire stretch of the shopping district.

Headed off to the DaVinci exhibit amid the ridiculous heat and venue packed with kids on their school vacation. Pity some of the exhibits were not very well taken care of, as well as some so-called "guided tour guides" with disastrous Singlish spoiling an otherwise pretty nice way to spend a weekend afternoon. It was a treat to view the Mona Lisa given Pascal Cotte's virtual cleaning treatment with his 240million pixel camera, and see it the way Leonardo intended. The man is truly a genius, heres a lovely quote:
"It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out nd happened to things"

Caught Angels & Demons as well as Wolverine over the weekend. Thought that the Ron Howard flick was pretty ok for a no-brainer thriller, felt there wasn't as much layers and intrigue as DaVinci Code. But Tom Hanks sure was value for money ('bout 25mil per flick last i heard?), you'd almost think he was to play any role in the movie he appears in. Wolverine was so-so, even as a popcorn-fodder, you get a feeling the script-writer tried to balance too many aspects/characters (the comic-verse is too varied and complex to tell in 2hours) with too many constraints (much of Wolvie's background was already revealed in X1 & X2 anyways). Oh well, i'm just glad to be back in the midst of the movie-going crowd, i think its all gonna build up to the eventual blockbuster bang of "Megan Fox and the Transformers"..yay
